Limits.

I sit to think,
where do I end?
Where do I begin?

those things we call limits,
and these limits we shouldn't exceed,
those things we call lines,
and these lines we shouldn't cross,

who sets them up?
Who tells where they begin?
Who tells where they end?

This form I have,
who defines its limits?
When my soul: a universe in itself is limitless?

The limits of the human body,
I know and I have studied,
but many limits lay undefined,

the limits of my passion,
the limits of my determination,
the limits of my words,
the limits of my love,

who can define these for me?
When I myself failed to.
Will it be the same people
who said 'we should all be in our limits?'

In the variable expression called 'life'
who dares to put the integral of control,
and who dares to place the limits to it?

RUNNING THE ECONOMY AND, THE RUNNING ECONOMY.

Playing with words isn’t so easy however it doesn’t require a degree per say to do so. You know what else doesn’t require a degree? Running a country. Now I’m not eligible enough to make a comment that I am going to, although I do have a degree, but even then I’d say “I can’t compare playing with words to playing with a nation with a gigantic population of  1.37 billion but I bet its easy and good money since people without even education are applying for it.
India being the developing country since literally its foundation was laid has been into the hands of many people both good and, well not good. There are certain very basic criteria to note how the “ruler” of the country was, some of these include GDP of the country, Poverty rate, Hunger rate etc etc you get the idea, you’re literate readers I’m sure, because those who couldn’t grasp would have left at the end of the first paragraph itself (great for me that they’re not seeing me dis about the government, who knows in the coming years they’re in their “seats”?). The graph of these criteria has seen its share of ups and downs along with the countrymen and women. India is like that person we all know who loves to boast about how open minded and cool he is but then goes home and defames others on the internet, with a fake id mind you. India loves to stand out and say we’re unity in diversity and we are a secular country but then makes many decisions that if noted carefully are based on religious acts and principles. The recent government is different, very different.
Modi Bhakts can leave now.
I adore what Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done, he has kept his friends close and his enemies closer. For the first many years he seems to be fulfilling his lifelong dream of travelling the world, I mean I don’t need to tell you guys about this, you’ve seen the memes. He has made connections all over the globe that is a very clever and new approach that has been taken from the country but who’s to blame, people have been desperate to hear Manmohan Singh in the country let alone outside it!
Have the Modi Bhakts left now?
For sure?
What sucks about the Modi government is its very nonsecular approach to governance that could lead to many, many disputes within the country leading to Pakistan part 2 and we all know no one needs that! No one, maybe Pakistan needs it a little since USA is raiding it continuously. I mean those terrorists gotta live like nomads now. Jihad se Jhum Cultivation hota ja raha hai inka. For all those who don’t know what Jhum Cultivation is never-mind!
While other countries are having certain % increase in their GDP, India on the other hand faced the downfall with certain % decrease. The Modi government imposed a variety of taxes and how can one forget the famous/infamous Demonetization of November 2016? That demonetization was for nothing but was an opportunity for the millennials to see and know what demonetization is. Jokes on them, we millennials never had 500, 2000 notes with us! We damn broke. After that the citizens were greeted the by the GST with open arms like the Raj from DDLJ. Jokes on us here because we ran like Simran towards our own destruction, we had to, it was the only path! That demonetization felt like that teacher who wants you to fail so bad that she gives you a hard paper and then complains to your parents that you’re weak and should study more!
From running the economy it feels more like the government is letting go of the economy like Chaudhary Baldev Singh aka Babuji (another DDLJ joke, apologies) and the economy seems to be running, not running perfectly or even running fine but running away. It’s crucial that something is done for the country to at least transform it from developing to developed. At least. What the country needs is young blood. Sorry, let me correct myself. What the country needs is literate young blood. People who are specialized in the field, who know the country through and through. Doctors, lawyers, engineers, economists, everyone. It’s storm time, the country needs all hands on deck! A high tide, a humongous wave is needed to wipe off all that is unwanted and create a new place, a much better place that actually respects the people and cares for them and yes, says its secular and acts that way!
I wait with hope to see a new India, a much better India.
Note to the readers: if you’re stuck at a point wondering whether it’s a pun or not, it’s definitely a pun!

Just a dream?

The blue end of the grey sky seems to come but it never does.
And the dark clouds of the dark sky seem to remain persistent. The one tone hue that strangely calms me down, gets on the nerves of another.
The periodic flashes of light that straightens my soul, tears someone else's apart.
The stars that lie above that dark layer still shimmer with their might and I beneath them.
The drops now in Symphony fall over my broken self... Seeping into the cracks of my soul and filling them up.
Letting all the butterflies out, I found myself. The tides of the ocean I am.....seem to come still. My fears leave me like the leaves fall off from their branches. These gushes of wind seem to take me somewhere, somewhere I've never been, somewhere I'm meant to be.

Just then I open my eyes ending the dream of a life time,
The dream of serenity.
and realised where I am
-a state of uncertainty.

... Back to being in the state of misery,
The state of unwanted reality...

THOSE PIECES OF ME

All those million pieces of me,
Tonight I let them free,
I kept them in a safe,
But tonight I bring myself to peace.

All the pieces I put together,
And tried to let them be,
I realized those pieces,
Were only meant to be free.

You broke me,
You tore me apart,
You neither cared about my feelings,
Nor about my heart.

All those times,
You talked about 'always',
Yet your love and care,
lasted only for a few days.

I heard you moved on,
To someone new,
And just like you tonight,
I embrace my new hue.

With my own hands,
I give my old self away,
I finally smile,
As I peacefully lay.

And as the storm sets,
And pleasant breeze starts to blow,
Far far away I see,
My broken million pieces go.

Bare.

He asked me to come bare
And I did comply.
Touched me all over
Without a reply.

His hands encircled,
what mine never touched.
with every move of his,
Blood in my body rushed.

And finally he,
Took off my skirt,
Took off his pants
And then took off his shirt.

With supple moves,
I felt him rise,
And slowly slowly,
He put my top over my eyes.

Blindfolded I was,
But could feel every single thing.
He gave me all sorts of "pleasures"
Except that of a ring.

He winced
And entered,
I moaned
And shattered.

For hours he
moved back and forth
With all his might
And all his force.

And after few hours
When he was at his peace
He wore his clothes and left,
The only thing touching me now was the cold winter breeze.

He came in
With a cigarette in his mouth,
Thought he'd say I was good,
But he just wanted me out.

He asked me to come bare
And I did comply,
"It's all over" I said
And left with a smile too wry
